Koza Gold Operations Company is a Turkish company formed by 100% Turkish capital to explore and operate gold mines in our country. KOZA Davetiye Magaza Isletmeleri ve Ihracat A.S. and Koza Ipek Holding A.S. have acquired all the shares of Normandy Madencilik A.S. from Newmont Mining Corporation Limited in March 2005 thus becoming first Turkish company in the history of Republic of Turkey to realize gold production in this country.

Company's Ovacik Gold Mine situated at Bergama, Izmir has been a key factor in turning the country's big gold potential into economical gain and it is the first gold mine operated in the Republic of Turkey. Gumushane-Mastra Gold Mine progressed with company's operational investments, is on its way soon to become Turkey's gold second gold mine after Ovacik.
